1. Who we are

These terms govern your use of the SDB Studio website and any order you place. SDB Studio is a brand of Aliaj Interior, with registered office at Houtweg 54, 1140 Evere, Belgium (enterprise & VAT number BE 1001.57.25.10). Contact: hello@sdbstudio.be.

2. Custom-made products — no refunds, returns or exchanges

Every bathroom vanity and worktop is made to measure to each client's exact dimensions, configuration and chosen options. They are therefore custom-made goods and are strictly non-refundable, non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

In accordance with Belgian and EU consumer law (Art. VI.53, 3° WER / Directive 2011/83/EU), the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. By placing your order and completing payment, you expressly acknowledge and accept that the order is final and that no refund, return, exchange or cancellation is possible once it is confirmed. Please verify your dimensions and choices carefully before ordering — we build exactly what you configure.

3. Orders & acceptance

An order is confirmed once payment is successfully completed through our payment provider. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in case of obvious pricing errors, suspected fraud, or impossibility of production, with a full refund where applicable.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in euros and include VAT unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed at the time of order via Mollie (Bancontact, card, Apple Pay). Your order enters production after payment is confirmed.

5. Production and delivery

Indicative production time is 4–6 weeks. Delivery within Belgium is €80; other European countries incur a flat €150 charge. Delivery dates are scheduled with you personally and are indicative, not binding. Risk passes to you on delivery.

6. Dimensions above 120 cm

Vanities wider than 120 cm are manufactured as two identical cabinets installed side by side, as shown in the configurator at the time of ordering.

7. Faucets and installation parts

Where a faucet is selected, a concealed body is required for installation and is offered as a separate, optional item. Installation is the customer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

8. Conformity and warranty

The legal warranty of 2 years applies to all products. In addition, we offer a 5-year warranty on structural craftsmanship. The warranty does not cover damage from incorrect installation, abnormal humidity exposure beyond normal bathroom conditions, or improper maintenance.

9. Professional orders

Orders placed as a professional include the company name and VAT number provided at checkout. Invoices are issued after order receipt. Intra-community supply rules apply where relevant.

10. Liability

Our liability is limited to the order amount. We are not liable for indirect damage, installation costs, or consequential losses, except in cases of fraud, gross negligence, or where liability cannot be excluded by law.

11. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including the 3D configurator, images, and texts — is the property of SDB Studio and may not be reproduced without permission.

12. Order cancellation

Because materials are scheduled and cut shortly after confirmation, an order may only be cancelled within 24 hours of confirmation and before production has begun. Once production has started, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded for any reason, including a change of mind.

13. Your responsibility for measurements & choices

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the dimensions, configuration and options you enter in the configurator. We manufacture exactly what you configure. Errors in client-supplied measurements or selections are not manufacturing defects and do not entitle you to a refund, replacement or remake. We recommend confirming your measurements — or asking us — before ordering.

14. Natural variation of materials

Wood decors, grain, colour, ceramic and stone surfaces may vary slightly from the on-screen 3D renders and photographs, and between production batches, due to the natural character of the materials and screen calibration. Such variation is normal and is not considered a defect or grounds for refund.

15. Inspection on delivery & complaints

You must inspect the goods upon delivery. Any visible damage, shortage or non-conformity must be noted on the delivery document where possible and reported to us in writing, with photographs, within 7 calendar days of delivery. After this period the goods are deemed accepted. This does not affect your statutory rights regarding hidden defects.

16. Failed or refused delivery

If a scheduled delivery cannot be completed because you are unavailable, the address is inaccessible, or access details provided were incorrect, additional storage, handling and re-delivery costs may be charged. Goods uncollected or repeatedly undeliverable after 60 days may be disposed of without refund.

17. Installation & suitability

Unless expressly agreed in writing, installation, plumbing and on-site fitting are the customer's responsibility. It is your responsibility to ensure the product is suitable for your space, plumbing and walls. We are not liable for damage or unsuitability resulting from installation carried out by you or a third party.

18. Force majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to supply shortages, transport disruption, strikes, fire, flooding, extreme weather, pandemics, or acts of public authority. Affected obligations are suspended for the duration of the event.

19. Severability & entire agreement

If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These terms, together with the order confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and SDB Studio.

20. Governing law & disputes

Belgian law applies. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the registered office of SDB Studio. Consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
