How to Care for Your Bathroom Vanity (and Make It Last)
A well-built vanity is made to last — and a little care keeps it looking new for years. Here's how to maintain yours.

Everyday cleaning
Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and a mild cleaner. Avoid abrasive scourers and harsh solvents, which can dull the finish over time.
Manage humidity
Ventilate the bathroom after showers and wipe up standing water promptly. Even moisture-resistant materials last longer in a well-aired room.
Care for the countertop
Both HPL Compact and ceramic are waterproof and easy to clean. For ceramic, avoid dropping heavy objects on the edge; for HPL, simply wipe with a damp cloth.
